JSGS Student Workshop: Art of Interviewing

University of Regina

Presented by Gillian Borys, Student Experience Officer

Behavioural Interviews are a common interview style that is being used in most government and nongovernment
organizations. But what is a Behavioural Interview, how does it differ from a traditional
interview style? How can you successfully participate in a Behavioural Interview to secure the job you
want?

The key goals of this workshop are:
1) to familiarize participants with Behavioural Interviews;
2) to learn how to interview effectively:
3) to provide participants with examples of Behavioural Interview questions; and
4) to teach participants how to avoid the common mistakes made in the interviewing process.

Worth One 990 credit.
